A: FLV is the preferred file format for delivering video clips via Flash and it is often used by nearly all embedded video on the Internet including the videos found on YouTube, Google Video, and much more websites because of its small size. However, a lot of applications support video formats but FLV, then you need to convert FLV to other video formats and you can also process the converted file for other purposes. For example, you can get a higher quality video file than FLV format, play the FLV video in your Windows Media Player, save the converted video on your DVD to backup or enjoy it on your portable devices.

A: The size of the output video is decided by the quality of it. If you want to get it smaller, please decrease the quality by selecting a preset with lower parameters such as Video Bitrate, Audio Bitrate, Sample Rate, etc. And of course, the shorter the time duration, the smaller the file size is.
A: The output file quality depends largely on the source file. You may choose a higher bit rate or modify settings like contrast, dimensions, length, and audio volume, etc., if the output one is not as good as the original one.
A: It is hard to answer it generally. The time depends on many elements such as the speed of the CPU, duration of the input video, quality of the output audio and so on. The converter shows an estimated “Time Remaining” when the conversion is processed.
